Area Radiation Monitors<\/a> are essential for determining exposure levels in enclosed areas of radiation activity. Area radiation monitors measure and display the quantity of radiation present in the workplace. This allows radiation workers to make informed decisions before engaging in any activity involving radiation exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EECI<\/a> is proud to present the DZM series surface radiation meters. These monitors are designed to measure gamma and x-ray radiation in nuclear laboratories, power plants, radiation facilities and during NDT radiography tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the Geiger-Muller detector, the DZM series is designed to withstand the harsh working environment of radiation facilities. They are IP63 certified, have compact metal housings and are immune to EMI\/RFI interference. A large 7-segment display allows workers to see ambient radiation from a safe distance. An on-board computer and touchscreen allow the user to set parameters either personally or via remote interface. Real-time radiation readings and reports can be viewed on the EECIRAD central control software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the measurement range requirement, the monitors are available in various configurations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  3. DZM1            :<\/strong>  0.01 mR\/Hr to 1.00 R\/Hr<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. DZM10<\/strong>          :<\/strong>  0.1 mR\/Hr to 10.0 R\/Hr<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    CALIBRATION SERVICES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    EECI’s laboratory to calibrate Radiation Monitoring Instruments (RMIs) is accredited by AERB and NABL. This facility is used to validate survey meters, area monitors, contamination monitors and dosimeters of various makes across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
